KUUMA exists to bring the grounding feeling of wood-fired sauna to Portishead and North Somerset: warm timber, coastal air, and time that feels properly yours.
Why KUUMA exists
To make sauna feel close, human, and unhurried.
KUUMA is founder-led, which means the details matter because they are personal. The heat, the setup, the welcome, the pace of the session, and the way people feel when they leave all count.
The idea came from a simple belief: you should not need a long journey to find the reset that sauna can bring. A good sauna session can fit into local life, whether that is a quiet evening, a gathering with friends, a community event, or a venue partnership by the water.

A KUUMA session is built around the classic sauna cycle: warm up, step out, cool down, drink water, rest, and return when your body is ready. It is not about chasing extremes. It is about finding a pace that feels good.
