What to Bring to Your First KUUMA Sauna Session
Your first KUUMA session should feel easy from the moment you arrive. The sauna does the heavy lifting: warm timber, wood-fired heat, fresh air outside, and time to let your shoulders drop.
Bring two towels if you can. One is for sitting on in the sauna and one is for drying off afterwards. A robe or loose warm layers are useful between rounds, especially on cooler days near the coast.
Water matters. Bring a refillable bottle and drink steadily before and after your session. Sauna is best enjoyed at a calm pace, so leave the alcohol for another time.
Wear swimwear you feel comfortable in, and bring sandals or sliders for moving between the sauna and changing area. If you like a cold rinse or sea dip after heat, pack whatever helps you warm up afterwards.
Most of all, arrive without needing to rush. KUUMA is built around the rhythm of heat, cool air, rest, and repeat.
